American Interest

The new American policy magazine The American Interest recently included an article by Thomas Melia, Deputy Executive Director of Freedom House, which provides an overview of the government agencies and organizations that shape U.S. democracy assistance and development aid. The article, while presenting debatable policy solutions concerning the U.S. approach towards democracy promotion, gives a fairly comprehensive examination of the different players and how they work together.
